Conversion sleeve
This is a high-precision sleeve made from nickel electroforming. It is resistant to corrosion, has better wear resistance than phosphor bronze, and is more affordable than zirconia ceramic.
Using a method called nickel electroforming, we create ultra-precise conversion sleeves by thickly electroplating nickel onto a mold and then releasing the mold. We connect the Φ2.5 ferrule and Φ1.25 ferrule, which are important connection components for optical fibers, with high precision (coaxial less than 1 micron). Nickel is resistant to corrosion and has a material hardness of about 550HV to 600HV (approximately three times that of stainless steel), but it also has elastic properties. The connection loss for optical fibers is less than 0.5 dB. We also accept development for other non-standard sizes.
