The concrete flaw detection agent "Super Pollux" is a fluorescent penetrant specifically designed for concrete. When there are surface-opening cracks in concrete structures, applying stress can cause these openings to rapidly propagate, potentially leading to dangerous cracks. The only way to prevent this is to repair any fine cracks that are likely to progress beforehand. In such cases, using Super Pollux allows for the simultaneous detection of concrete surface cracks with widths ranging from approximately 0.05 to 0.3 mm over a wide area.
