Free membership registrationAs shown in the diagram, the tip has a hardness of about HRC60, while the threaded part has a hardness of about HRC45. It is machined from a single material, with the tip having a higher hardness to ensure wear resistance, and the threaded part having a lower hardness to prevent breakage. Since it is not subjected to high-frequency heat treatment, the hardness extends not only to the surface but also to the center.
