World's first embedded flexible tactile sensor

This flexible tactile sensor can deform flexibly itself, allowing it to be embedded in a soft, fleshy exterior without creating any awkwardness or roughness when performing actions like "pinching" or "stroking," thus achieving a natural feel. Additionally, because it can deform in response to changes in the exterior, it is difficult to create insensitivity zones between the embedded sensors, making it possible to reduce the number of sensors per unit area.
