The installer of a simple dedicated water supply is required to undergo a regular inspection once a year to confirm the management status of the simple dedicated water supply, based on the Water Supply Act, by a registered organization of the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. It is registered as a "Water Supply Act Article 34 Simple Dedicated Water Supply Management Inspection Organization" and conducts inspections ranging from external appearance checks of the facility to water quality tests at the water supply taps and document inspections.

In response to the revision of JIS S 3201 (Testing Methods for Household Water Purifiers) in 2010, we conduct filtration flow rate tests, removal performance tests, and filtration capacity tests. Additionally, we carry out RO water purifier tests and water shower tests based on the standards of the Water Purifier Association (JWPAS) and the Japan Water Works Association (JWWA), from planning to analysis. We use RO membrane permeate water for the test water, allowing us to conduct tests with stable water quality.

In September 2006, the Industrial Safety and Health Act was amended, reducing the asbestos content threshold from 1% to 0.1%. Additionally, in February 2008, a notification from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare expanded the types of asbestos to six (chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite, tremolite, actinolite, and anthophyllite). We are quickly responding to the changing regulations and the latest analytical methods to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of asbestos.

Based on regulations such as the Special Measures Law for Dioxins, we conduct source control measures and investigations and measurements of contamination levels. We are certified under the Specific Measurement Certification Program (MLAP) and conduct sampling and analysis of various media, including environmental water, wastewater, ambient air, exhaust gas, soil, and sediment, under appropriate quality management. We actively participate in external precision management tests and strive daily to maintain and improve our analytical accuracy.

We conduct rapid analysis of a wide range of foods, including fresh foods, processed foods, and imported foods, in accordance with the positive list system using GC-MS and LC-MS/MS for pesticide residue testing, testing for residual veterinary drugs in livestock and aquatic products, testing for mycotoxins (aflatoxins) in food, and testing in compliance with the Pet Food Safety Act.

In workplaces established by the Labor Safety and Health Act, measurements of specified items such as dust, specific chemical substances, organic solvents, lead, and noise will be conducted. A work environment measurement specialist will carry out the entire process from design and sampling to report preparation, and will also provide appropriate advice for the maintenance of a good workplace environment.

Based on the Air Pollution Control Act, emission standards are established according to the type of substance and the type and scale of the facility. Measurements are conducted for smoke, particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and exhaust gas flow rates emitted from boilers, incinerators, and other sources.

We will conduct soil contamination surveys and analyses based on the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act. In April 2010, the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act was amended, requiring notification to the prefectural governor when changing the land characteristics of 3,000 square meters or more, thereby expanding the scope of regulation. We will assist in understanding the risks of soil contamination in environmental management systems (ISO 14001) at business sites and during real estate transactions.

Based on the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act, we will classify whether there is a possibility of soil contamination through an investigation of the land use history and other factors. We will assess the potential for soil contamination based on the collection of materials such as property registration certificates and aerial photographs, and evaluate it in the report.

Groundwater quality standards have been established based on the provisions of Article 16 of the Basic Environmental Law, concerning the pollution of groundwater. Analyses of vinyl chloride monomer, 1,4-dioxane, and 1,2-dichloroethylene, which were added to the environmental standards in November 2009, are also being conducted. Additionally, we are conducting total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) analysis using GC-FID based on the "Oil Pollution Countermeasures Guidelines" published by the Ministry of the Environment in March 2006.

Public water areas (rivers, seas, lakes, etc.) are subject to environmental standards and discharge standards established by the Water Pollution Prevention Act, the Special Measures Act for Lake Water Quality Conservation, and various local government ordinances. We conduct everything from field surveys to analysis and report preparation.

Based on the Waterworks Act and the Law Concerning the Assurance of Sanitary Environments in Buildings (Building Management Act), the implementation of water quality testing is mandated. We conduct highly accurate and reliable water quality tests as a registered water quality testing organization by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, and as an organization registered for building drinking water quality testing by the prefectural governor.

When discharging wastewater into public water areas (such as seas, rivers, lakes, etc.), it is necessary to comply with the discharge standards established by the Water Pollution Control Law, the Special Measures Law for Lake Water Quality Conservation, and the regulations of each municipality.
