Resin products made of silicone resin laminates are excellent in heat resistance, cold resistance, non-flammability, water resistance, and electrical insulation, making them suitable for use as H-class insulation materials. To take advantage of these characteristics, glass cloth is used as the base material. In terms of electrical properties, the change in resistance value due to temperature is small, and it excels in high-frequency characteristics and arc resistance. The heat resistance temperature is 200°C. They are used for insulation around heaters, in microwave ovens, circuit breakers, and outdoor insulation. Resin products, inorganic resin laminated products (insulation and high-temperature durability grade), are glass cloth laminates based on inorganic materials. They have heat resistance of over 300°C and can be used at temperatures up to 800°C depending on the time and application. Additionally, they exhibit excellent arc resistance and tracking resistance. Despite being inorganic, they are easier to process than conventional inorganic materials (such as ceramics and mica) and can be processed in the same way as glass epoxy laminates. Resin products, glass epoxy laminates, generally have epoxy resin that offers excellent insulation, moisture resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and adhesion, particularly excelling in alkali resistance. Products with glass fabric substrates include general types (G-10) and flame-retardant types (FR-4), both of which exhibit superior mechanical strength, electrical properties, low water absorption, and chemical resistance. Products with carbon cloth substrates excel in strength and elasticity, while those with Tetoron fabric substrates are outstanding in water resistance, high-frequency dependency, punchability, wear resistance, and resistance to SF6 gas. The heat resistance temperature is 180°C, and the colors available are green and white. The resin itself has excellent heat resistance at 130°C, is strong, stable against various solvents and acidic chemicals, and is a well-balanced insulating material in terms of electrical properties, mechanical properties, workability, and cost performance.
