Free membership registrationI would like to introduce one of the technologies of Yamazaki Industrial Co., Ltd., which is the "Countermeasure for Scrap Rising." Many defects that occur during progressive press processing are due to dents, scratches, and deformations. It can be said to be an eternal theme. The mechanisms behind these occurrences are varied, but one reason is that scrap can rise during the punching process, and this can happen when it is stepped on. To prevent the rising of scrap, Yamazaki Industrial Co., Ltd. sometimes utilizes "the power of air." This is a commonly used method, but we are working on standardizing when to implement this countermeasure and what the most cost-effective methods are within the design technology group, so that we can avoid additional measures after mass production begins. We live in an era that often prioritizes speed. By further promoting standardization, we will enhance our ability to meet delivery deadlines. For more details, please contact us or refer to our catalog.

Free membership registrationA group of specialists in precision press processing that handles everything from the design and manufacturing of progressive press molds to the mass production of precision press parts has the solution! We will introduce a case study of a process that expands the bottom of drawn products. The product adds a process at the end of the drawing process, expanding the tip of the draw from 3.4mm to 3.5mm in outer diameter. This processing method can be widely applied as a technique to prevent ejection. For more details, please contact us or refer to our catalog.

Free membership registrationA group of specialists in precision press processing that handles everything from the design and manufacturing of progressive press molds to the mass production of precision press parts has the solution! We will introduce case studies of rounding processing (pipe processing) and stop opening solutions. The product is an example of rounding processing using progressive press processing. This product meets a tolerance of less than 0.04mm roundness for a diameter of 4mm. Furthermore, the issue of the cylinder's diameter slightly expanding due to residual stress is resolved through stop opening processing. Side processing is also performed within the same type, making it an example where the advantages of progressive press are maximally utilized. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Free membership registrationA group of specialists in precision press processing that handles everything from the design and manufacturing of progressive press molds to the mass production of precision press parts has the solution! We will introduce a case study of our dowel pin extraction technology using cold forging techniques. The product is formed into a dowel (pin) with a total height of 1.7mm from the bottom surface using SPCE with a thickness of 1.2mm. We crush the thickness down to 0.8mm and use a processing method that gathers material into the boss, resulting in a flat finish on the back surface. Compared to pin insertion, this method excels in processing costs, strength, and precision, making it an effective value-added proposal for products that involve pin insertion processes. Free membership registrationShear processing is widely used in press working, but it can pose various challenges depending on processing conditions, such as issues with burr management and shear surface accuracy, scrap handling, curvature of products requiring flatness, twisting or bending of narrow cutouts, and insufficient tool durability. At Yamazaki Industrial Co., Ltd., we are continuously developing individual countermeasures for each of these issues and promoting widespread standardization among our engineers. Our products include copper strips for lead frames (equivalent to CDA15100) with a thickness of 0.3mm, which are shear processed with slits measuring 0.18mm, representing 60% of the sheet thickness. The material hardness is approximately 140Hv. Typically, punches as thin as 0.18mm cannot ensure sufficient strength, and considering mass production, it becomes necessary to widen the slit width. At Yamazaki Industrial Co., Ltd., we enhance mold precision and reconsider the structure of the relevant parts, enabling shear processing of slits and holes that are finer and thinner than the sheet thickness.
