Emery, corundum abrasive This is emery for iron buff. High quality Tosa Emery Extra, Uji Denka Chemical Industry Emery powder is bonded to iron buff using traditional animal glue. In the polishing industry, it is commonly referred to as corundum. If the purpose is for continuation, it is usually good to use a ratio of warm water 1: glue 1. Example - Usage (individual differences apply) 1. Put water and glue into a container. It will swell in 10 to 20 minutes. 2. In a metal container filled with hot water at about 80 to 90 degrees, add the swollen glue from step 1 and mix it (ratio of water 1: glue 1). 3. Simmer on the stove for about 40 minutes in summer and about 1 hour in winter until it becomes a liquid similar to salad oil. * There is a smell when simmering (it is not harmful). * If left to cool, it will turn into a gel or jelly-like consistency like pudding.

It is well-received by on-site craftsmen as a protective tape before plating treatment. When wrapping it like a bandage, pulling while overlapping increases adhesion.
