In the handling process of collaborative robots, an important challenge is how to efficiently transport workpieces while considering the constraints of payload capacity. This is particularly critical in processes such as palletizing and case packing, where the balance between the weight and performance of the gripper directly affects productivity. Kenos' new product, the "Kenos Cobot Medium (KCM)," is a vacuum gripper designed specifically for collaborative robots, combining lightweight design with high payload capacity. The gripper itself has a lightweight body of less than 4 kg while being capable of handling workpieces weighing up to 30 kg. This allows for maximum utilization of the robot's payload, achieving high-efficiency handling. Additionally, the compatibility with modular valve options and PCOF (Piab Customizable Organic Foam) enables flexible adaptation to various workpiece shapes and materials, allowing for optimal configurations based on specific applications. 【Features】 - Lightweight (under 4 kg) yet capable of handling workpieces up to 30 kg - Maximizes the payload capacity of collaborative robots - Enables flexible system construction with modular valves - Compatible with PCOF for adaptation to diverse workpiece shapes

Some customers using the Piab vacuum conveyor may feel that "it seems to be a bit different from when it was first introduced." For example, do you experience any of the following symptoms? ● Weak suction ● Unusual noises ● Longer transportation times ● Raw materials are prone to clogging ● Uncertainty about when to replace the filter These symptoms may be caused by the deterioration or wear of internal components. Even if it appears to be operating normally, various parts inside the conveyor may be deteriorating. These changes can be difficult to detect from the outside and may lead to a decrease in suction power or transportation issues without you realizing it. We recommend regular inspections to check the condition of the equipment. We are currently conducting a limited-time free inspection campaign for Piab vacuum conveyors. Customers who apply by April 2026 will receive a free equipment inspection by our specialized staff. This campaign is being handled by JP Next Co., Ltd., which sells vacuum conveyors domestically.

We have added a 1.5/2.5 bellows specification and expanded the modular BXP series. The electrostatic dissipative polyurethane "ESD DURAFLEX(R)" enables stable transport of cardboard and porous materials while addressing ESD concerns. It safely and reliably handles delicate workpieces such as batteries, fuel cells, and electronic components. Its compact design allows for smooth integration with existing equipment. Like the existing BXP family, the Ø6mm and Ø8mm BXP mini suction cups adopt a modular design, providing high flexibility. Available in 1.5 bellows and 2.5 bellows specifications, they improve adaptability to height differences and uneven surfaces. This product is offered with a Shore hardness of 60, designed to achieve an optimal balance of gripping force, flexibility, and durability. To ensure smooth integration with existing equipment, dedicated screw-in ESD fittings that ensure conductivity are also available, allowing for easy implementation in various machines and robotic systems.
