"High Shoka" makes the areas where it is applied, such as tatami mats, shoji doors, curtains, and fusuma, flame-retardant. The raw materials are based on natural water-soluble substances, so no toxic gases are generated at all. The main components are a composite of flame-retardant ceramics and natural mineral liquids. It is environmentally friendly and can be used with peace of mind. Once applied, the effect lasts semi-permanently. However, due to its water-soluble nature, in places exposed to rain or water, the components may wash away, reducing effectiveness. Depending on the environment, the recommended reapplication period is 10 years indoors and 4 to 5 years outdoors.
