Free membership registrationAras, which provides a resilient product lifecycle management (PLM) platform for digital applications in the manufacturing industry, has announced the latest release of the "Aras System Architecture." This application integrates data from all engineering domains, including machinery, software, electronics, and simulation, in a tool-agnostic manner, supporting the definition of system models. This enables a unified view of all related system models and their design intentions, as well as the formation of digital threads directly related to other elements of the product development process, achieving unprecedented improvements in collaboration and risk reduction. Additionally, this application captures the descriptive aspects of system models (product functional elements and logical elements) based on elements called RFLP (Requirements = Requirements / Functional = Function / Logical = Logic / Physical = Physical), connecting them with other aspects of design, such as requirements definition and the physical representation of the product.

Free membership registrationAras, which provides a resilient (flexible) product lifecycle management (PLM) platform for digital applications in the manufacturing industry, has announced the latest release of "Aras Simulation Management," the most scalable, flexible, and open solution that enables simulation throughout the entire lifecycle. This application offers the capability to manage processes and data for all types of simulations across various tools. Analysis data and results become part of the digital thread, connecting simulation data as actionable information that can be traced back to requirements specifications through a closed loop. It also reduces administrative tasks for simulation personnel, allowing them to focus on modeling, analysis, and methodologies. Inputs such as accurate product configuration variations, mixed fidelity models, and parameter values are automatically incorporated into simulation studies, and analysis results are published across various processes as part of the digital thread. This enables easy comparison and repeatable simulation processes, facilitating timely decision-making.

Free membership registrationAs we enter the era of the new normal, everyone is likely feeling the wave of rapid digitalization, starting with remote work. The manufacturing sector is no exception; digitalization is an urgent necessity, and experts in manufacturing and IT suggest that without shifting to a model where "online is the premise," it will be impossible to continue manufacturing. In this webinar, we will highlight the theme that "changes will continue to occur" as a consideration when thinking about manufacturing in this era, and we will introduce three important perspectives for establishing a sustainable digital transformation foundation that can flexibly respond to changes. Participants who respond to the survey after the webinar will be offered (1) a collection of case studies and (2) opportunities for individual consultations. For details on content, speakers, etc., please check the link.

Free membership registrationFrom April 20 (Tuesday) to April 22 (Thursday), 2021, we will be holding our annual event, the Aras Community Event (ACE). Unlike traditional ACE events, which are one-way seminars from typical software vendors, this event brings together existing users, potential customers considering implementation, partners, and experts from various fields, providing numerous opportunities for collaboration and communication, including Aras employees. Many have participated in this gathering. This year, to maximize the features of the ACE event and encourage broad participation, we have decided to conduct it as a single online event accessible worldwide. From Japan, we will have three user companies: Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., ROKI Co., Ltd., and Jamco Corporation, who will be giving presentations. Please take a look at how each company has addressed their engineering challenges using Aras Innovator. Additionally, the agenda for U.S. time will include user case presentations from around the world. We hope you look forward to it.
