Our company, Pairlink, has released a number of Bluetooth modules, and we have now begun the development of a Bluetooth LE Audio compatible module. Most Bluetooth earphones and speakers currently on the market, even those compatible with Bluetooth 5.x, communicate using the Classic standard (A2DP) from before Bluetooth 3.0. We offer the 'PLDBEITO' that supports Bluetooth Classic (SPP/A2DP). Due to Bluetooth SIG regulations, new products can no longer be released with modules that only support Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier. By using the dual-mode compatible 'PLDBEITO', communication with Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier standards can be supported. The SPP profile is recognized by Windows as a COM port, allowing wireless communication without changing COM port applications.
