This is a proposal for VA/VE in thin meat processing. When materials are chucked and processed, it generally requires two or more steps. As the number of steps increases, time is needed for forming, setup, measuring, and attaching/detaching, resulting in longer processing times per product. Reducing processing time is almost synonymous with cost reduction. We propose a VA/VE solution that accomplishes this in one step. 【Features】 ■ Reduction of production time before improvement ⇒ Reduced from approximately 8 minutes per piece to about 6 minutes per piece through improvements ■ Highly versatile case *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.*

At Oda Iron Works, we regularly conduct in-house prototypes for the purpose of honing our technology. We performed fine processing assuming nozzles made of fibers and resins, and we would like to introduce the results. In the prototype, we focused on: 1. Innovations during the chucking stage to prevent distortion due to the finished dimensions of φ150mm × 3.15mm, which is quite thin. 2. Innovations during the processing stage to minimize distortion caused by cutting resistance. We significantly re-evaluated the processing method itself, breaking down the process into finer steps to ensure that the amount of cutting and the movement of the tool do not become excessively large, thereby reducing cutting resistance as much as possible. 【Features】 [Fine processing assuming fiber and resin nozzles] ○ Material: SUS316L ○ Size: φ150mm × 3.15mm ○ Points: Processing methods to minimize distortion Chucking methods to minimize distortion *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

At Oda Iron Works, we regularly conduct in-house prototypes for the purpose of honing our technology. We would like to introduce our in-house prototype of thin-walled machining, which is designed for transportation products (brake components). Thin-walled machining presents challenges, particularly in terms of chucking difficulty and achieving precision. In our prototype's thin-walled machining, we utilize three key innovations: 1. Creation and use of inserts. 2. Use of air chucks. 3. Shaping techniques at the raw jaw stage. **Features** - Achieved coaxiality and roundness within 0.01mm with an inner diameter to outer diameter difference of 3.0mm. - Specializes in high-precision component machining. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.*

We would like to introduce examples of railway components and valve boxes. Producing thin-walled parts with high precision is extremely challenging, but our company is capable of mass production. Additionally, we offer VA/VE proposals based on the drawings, contributing to cost reduction. 【Features】 - Stable mass production of high-precision parts We have a proven track record of responding to over 1,000 large-scale manufacturing requests from major companies such as Shimadzu Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Nabtesco. - Realization of cost reduction through VA/VE When you request a quote based on your drawings, we will provide VA/VE proposals during the estimation process.

Oda Iron Works contributes to our customers through proposals for VA/VE cost reduction of precision machine parts, stable supply, and quality management systems. We are currently offering a free copy of the "Precision Machine Parts VA/VE Technical Handbook" for mechanical designers who are interested. This handbook includes essential knowledge that mechanical designers should grasp, as well as key points for VA/VE cost reduction of precision machine parts, summarized clearly based on specific cases. [Overview] ■ Essential knowledge for mechanical designers ■ Collection of case studies on VA/VE cost reduction for precision machine parts *The downloadable version is a "digest edition." If you would like the "full edition," please apply through our contact form.
