We would like to introduce a case study that addresses the issue of delivery date concerns at other companies. While we require information from our customers, we have processed both the ordered quantity and an additional lot of stock together during manufacturing, allowing us to meet the delivery dates for subsequent orders as well. As a result, we have achieved a delivery compliance rate of over 99.9% overall. Our company owns 38 automatic lathes, which allows us to continuously review processing plans even for short delivery times, set processing priorities, and respond to delivery dates. [Overview] ■ Issues - Concerns about delivery dates at other companies ■ Solutions - Process the ordered quantity along with an additional lot of stock - Enable response to delivery dates for subsequent orders ■ Effects - Achieved a delivery compliance rate of over 99.9% overall *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationA client inquired whether it was possible to reduce costs for parts they are sourcing from another company. As a solution, since the parts were ordered on a monthly repeat basis, we lowered the estimated unit price by quoting for 3 LOTs. As a result, we were able to significantly reduce the price compared to the competitor's unit price. At our company, while it will be subject to consultation with the customer, we can also accommodate deliveries of 1 LOT every month. 【Overview】 ■ Issue - Is it possible to reduce costs for parts sourced from another company? ■ Solution - Since the parts were on a monthly repeat basis, we lowered the unit price by quoting for 3 LOTs. ■ Effect - We were able to significantly lower the price compared to the competitor's unit price. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationDuring the discharge of parts from the NC automatic lathe, there was an issue of parts getting scratches from falling against each other, and we wanted to address this problem. To prevent falling scratches on the parts, we introduced a work stocker manufactured by Furukawa Seiki Co., Ltd. As a result, the defect rate due to falling scratches has dropped to 0%, productivity has improved, and since it is portable and can be attached to necessary machines, the introduction cost was also kept low. [Overview] ■ Problem - Parts get scratches from falling against each other during discharge from the NC automatic lathe. ■ Solution - Introduced a work stocker manufactured by Furukawa Seiki Co., Ltd. ■ Effect - The defect rate due to falling scratches has dropped to 0%, and productivity has improved. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationTo process R6.0, there was a challenge due to the need for selecting processing equipment and the significantly long processing time, which resulted in a high unit price. By changing R6.0 to φ11.0, we were able to only perform an H cut on the φ11.0 material diameter, leading to a reduction in processing time and allowing us to keep the estimated unit price down. 【Overview】 ■ Issues - Processing R6.0 requires selecting processing equipment and takes a significant amount of time, resulting in a high unit price. ■ Solution - Change R6.0 to φ11.0 - Only perform an H cut on the φ11.0 material diameter, leading to reduced processing time. ■ Effect - We were able to keep the estimated unit price down, which led to receiving orders. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationDuring the processing of POM material products, there was a challenge where the tolerance for the inner diameter was strict in machining, and performing polishing resulted in higher unit costs. Therefore, since a shaft with a negative tolerance would be inserted, it was determined that the H7 tolerance was unnecessary, and the tolerance was relaxed to what could be achieved through cutting processing. As a result, polishing the inner diameter was no longer necessary, leading to a reduction in costs. Our company can propose VE (Value Engineering) ideas by providing information about the type of parts that will be inserted. 【Overview】 ■ Issues - The tolerance for the inner diameter is strict in machining, and polishing leads to higher unit costs. ■ Solution - Since a shaft with a negative tolerance will be inserted, it was determined that the H7 tolerance was unnecessary, and the tolerance was relaxed to what could be achieved through cutting processing. ■ Effect - Polishing the inner diameter was no longer necessary, resulting in cost reduction. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
