Our company offers a "Drag Finish" process that enhances surface roughness after machining with zero dents. Unlike traditional barrel polishing methods, we chuck the workpiece for polishing, eliminating collisions between products. We use the Drag Finish from OTEC in Germany for contract processing of natural R honing on cutting edges. Unlike edge honing with grinding wheels, not only the cutting edge but also the flutes are polished simultaneously, which can improve chip removal. Additionally, we have received feedback that the lifespan of both new cutting tools and those that have been re-sharpened has doubled after undergoing our edge honing treatment.
