Our company manages daily landfill operations and leachate management, operating the final disposal site with sufficient understanding from the local community. In April 2021, we also began operations at the second final disposal site. At the Eco-System Hanaoka, we conduct soil purification using a treatment method that combines various technologies such as "soil washing methods," magnetic separation, and foam flotation extraction. The treated soil is reused as cover material, and heavy metals, which are contaminants, are recovered as valuable resources and recycled into smelting materials.
