Here is an example of a newly constructed steel anti-corrosion project conducted at a temple. The kitchen of Zuiseiji Temple was designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates. To protect the steel from rust while also ensuring that the solid cypress rafters do not get rusty, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5'. 【Features of AR-PRIMER 12.5】 ■ Contains carbon fibers to increase surface strength ■ Suppresses corrosion and re-corrosion of steel materials by forming a stable anti-corrosion layer ■ The coating has excellent elasticity and adhesion, providing long-term anti-corrosion effects ■ The application of two colors, gray and green, prevents missed spots and contributes to construction quality management ■ Contributes to reducing repair costs for metal components such as steel structures *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of repairing and heat-insulating a corrugated roof at a factory. The surface was prepared through scraping and high-pressure washing, followed by the application of 'AR-PRIMER 12.5' via spraying. A heat-insulating paint was then applied. Before the work, the temperature of the corrugated roof was 58.7℃, but after applying our product, it dropped to 47.9℃, and after applying the heat-insulating paint, it further decreased to 35.4℃. 【Construction Overview】 ■ Surface preparation through scraping and high-pressure washing (Before work corrugated roof temperature: 58.7℃) ■ Spraying of AR-PRIMER 12.5 (After work corrugated roof temperature: 47.9℃) ■ Application of heat-insulating paint (After work corrugated roof temperature: 35.4℃) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationHere is an example of rust repair on a generator. The lower part of the generator has rusted further due to rainwater intrusion from above, with holes on the outside revealing the insulation material inside. The inner metal has rusted and flaked, and the rust continues to progress. Therefore, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5', which allows excess moisture to escape until fully cured and transforms red rust into black rust with an alkaline coating to stabilize it. [Repair Points] - Prevent rainwater intrusion from above - Seal rust holes exposing insulation material - Ensure a dry film thickness of 650 to 800 microns for heavy corrosion protection *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe steel surfaces of cubicles and generators installed outdoors are very prone to rusting. The surfaces are originally protected by paint, but deterioration such as chalking and peeling, along with the effects of rainwater and humidity, make them susceptible to rust. Therefore, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5', which has excellent rust and corrosion resistance and durability of the coating, using a trowel. 【Features of AR-PRIMER 12.5】 ■ Contains carbon fibers to increase surface strength ■ Suppresses corrosion and re-corrosion of steel by forming a stable rust-proof layer ■ The coating has excellent elasticity and adhesion, providing long-term rust prevention effects ■ The application of two colors, gray and green, prevents missed spots and contributes to quality control during application ■ Contributes to reducing repair costs for metal components such as steel structures *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of rust repair in the machinery room at a food processing plant. In the past, regular repainting covered the underlying rust with surface paint, which allowed the residual rust beneath the paint film to progress and cause blistering. Once the multiple layers of existing paint were removed, the substrate was covered in red rust and was in a state of overall corrosion. Therefore, we applied 'AR-PRIMER 12.5' to convert the red rust to black rust and stop the progression of the internal residual rust. For large areas, we used spraying, while for finer areas such as handrails, we used brushes and rollers. 【Effects】 ■ Converts red rust to black rust and stops the progression of internal residual rust ■ With a durability of over 20 years, it significantly reduces the effort and cost of regular repainting *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationCubicles are essential in buildings and factories that use a large amount of electricity. Steel structures require specifications that can withstand rust in harsh environments, including moisture, salt-laden winds from coastal areas, and exhaust gases. To prevent rainwater intrusion from rusted areas and further rust progression, we recommend timely and appropriate rust repairs. AR-PRIMER 12.5 is a rust-proof primer that can be applied over red rust. It is an inorganic rust-proof primer containing carbon fibers. NETIS: KT-170078 Features of AR-PRIMER 12.5: pH value: approximately 12.5 The strong alkaline coating passivates red rust and suppresses long-term re-corrosion of steel materials. Labor-saving surface preparation. Three types of surface preparation (depending on the condition, a mix of two and three types may be used). Environmental and safety considerations. Inorganic rust-proof primer. Meets JWWA standards for water quality testing. Complies with Marpol (International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships).

Free membership registrationOur product, "AR-PRIMER 12.5," is an inorganic rust-proof primer designed for rust repair on steel materials and to protect newly installed steel frames from rust. It is a polymer cement mortar-based primer that forms a strong coating from emulsions and compounds, effectively blocking water and oxygen, which are the causes of corrosion (rust). It contains carbon fibers to enhance strength, and the coating protects the steel from external exposure. **Three Key Points of AR-PRIMER 12.5** ▲ Rust and Corrosion Resistance It has a strong alkaline pH of approximately 12.5, which passivates red rust. ▲ Workability Surface preparation requires at least three types of grinding. ▲ Environmental and Safety Considerations It is an inorganic, environmentally friendly alkaline product. **Other Features** ■ Contains carbon fibers to enhance electrical insulation and surface strength. ■ Forms a stable rust-proof layer that suppresses corrosion and re-corrosion of steel materials. ■ The coating excels in elasticity and adhesion, providing long-term rust protection. ■ Available in gray and green colors to prevent missed spots and contribute to construction management. ■ Contributes to reducing repair costs for metal components such as steel structures. ■ Being solvent-free, it allows for environmentally safe construction practices in river and marine structures. *For more details, please click on the "PDF Download" or "Contact Us" button!*

Free membership registrationThis document introduces the inorganic rust-proof primer 'AR-PRIMER 12.5', which is applied on-site by mixing and stirring a compound mainly composed of cement and silica sand with an emulsion made of polymer and moisture. Due to the strong alkalinity of the main component, it transforms the surface of iron with red rust into black rust, forming a stable rust-proof layer. The substrate treatment does not require stripping the existing paint with the usual three types of scraping, allowing for significant savings on scraping costs. We provide detailed explanations on "construction procedures," "rust-proof methods," and "points to note during construction." We encourage you to read it. 【Contents (excerpt)】 ■ Overview of rust-proof primer AR-PRIMER 12.5 ■ Features ■ Construction procedures ■ Rust-proof methods ■ Heavy anti-corrosion methods *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
