At Fukada Parkalizing, we accept prototypes and mass production of trivalent chemical treatments that do not contain hexavalent chromium. We can process items up to the size of 2500×900×1500. Trivalent black chemical treatment is divided into appearance-focused and corrosion-resistant types. "Solder plating" is a technique that forms a solder coating on the surface of steel materials by immersing them in a solder solution and passing an electric current through it. Our solder plating is known as 6:4 solder (eutectic solder), which has a low melting point (approximately 183°C) and high solderability, making it suitable for soldering applications. "Silver plating" is a coating with good electrical conductivity. There are three types of coatings: semi-gloss (wear-resistant), matte (good electrical conductivity), and soft (good adhesion). "Electrogalvanizing" is a technique that forms a zinc coating on the surface of steel materials by immersing them in a zinc solution and passing an electric current through it. Unlike hot-dip galvanizing, it does not involve high temperatures, preventing distortion of the product, and the threaded parts can be used as is. Even if fine scratches occur, the "sacrificial corrosion protection" effect protects the iron material from rust, and since zinc itself is prone to rusting, post-treatment such as hexavalent chromate is performed. Since no additives are used, the hardness of the coating is low, resulting in good initial compatibility and anti-galling properties. Our company specializes in various surface treatments aimed at enhancing functionality, in addition to hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing for rust prevention. Our silver plating has a semi-gloss appearance and can accommodate both large items such as terminals and copper bars, as well as small items like connectors. In particular, for small items, we can handle mass production using barrel plating and hot air drying ovens. Additionally, we offer two types of trivalent black chromate: corrosion-resistant and appearance-type. The corrosion-resistant type passes a 72-hour salt spray test but may exhibit color unevenness and stains. The appearance-type, while less corrosion-resistant, provides a uniform and good-quality black appearance coating.
