The human patch test is an examination that evaluates the safety of a sample for human use by placing it in contact with human skin for a certain period of time to investigate the presence of primary skin irritation and allergies. The samples tested include cosmetics, quasi-drugs, fiber products, and everyday items that come into contact with the skin. The final evaluation of the test results is conducted by a dermatologist or a dermatology specialist based on the assessment of skin reactions, in accordance with domestic standards. If safety is confirmed in the final evaluation, it is permitted to label the product packaging with "Patch Tested."
