Free membership registration**Introduction of a New Automatic Sampling System for High-Density Cell Culture Processes** (Approx. 55 minutes) This presentation is recommended for researchers and engineers, primarily from companies, who are engaged in the development, automation, and scale-up of high-density cell culture processes in bioreactors. The speaker, an expert with experience in high-density cell culture process development at a pharmaceutical company, will present findings from a collaborative project conducted with Merck and other universities at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. **Speaker:** Patrick Roman University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland **Overview** A comprehensive and detailed evaluation of the "automatic sampling system," which connects FLEX2 to a perfusion bioreactor, including an auto-sampler and sample collector. The presentation will cover approximately 35 minutes, featuring "an overall schematic diagram of the installation situation, including sterile connections to the reactor, along with abundant photographs" and "evaluation of the auto-sampler (comparison of manual and automatic data discrepancies, system robustness testing, sterility of the system, etc.)." The QA session will highlight "technical troubleshooting overcome before system operation" and "the reality of labor-saving that goes beyond just eliminating the need for weekend operators."
