Furthermore, from April 1, 2022, for renovation work with a contract amount of 1 million yen or more, or for the demolition of buildings with a floor area of 80 square meters or more, it has become necessary to report the results of the asbestos pre-investigation to the Ministry of the Environment and the Labor Standards Inspection Office via the web. Additionally, starting October 1, 2023, only qualified individuals such as asbestos-containing building material investigators will be able to create and report these documents, tightening the regulations on asbestos investigations and reporting.
