At SNOW EXPO JAPAN 2024, held at Pacifico Yokohama from February 13 to 14, we implemented a touchless entry approval system for attendees using IC cards commonly used for ski resort lift tickets for the first time. Initially, there were concerns about whether it would be successful, but seeing customers intuitively hold their tickets up to the authentication device for entry made me very happy, as the entry process turned out to be smoother than expected. "Door.Gate" is a wall-mounted access control device that is ideal for VIP lounges and special member-only areas within stadiums and live venues. It enables management of entry to designated areas that can only be accessed by invited or authorized guests and personnel. The sophisticated design of Door.Gate features an intuitive ticket reader that supports various data carriers (barcode, QR code, RFID, and NFC). Additionally, the 7-inch touchscreen display allows for PIN input and can also display facility information and advertisements. "Door.Gate 'Pedestal'" is a product that sets the Door.Gate on a pedestal. The pedestal is equipped with Wi-Fi, a large-capacity battery, and casters, making it easy to move to necessary locations within the facility and providing an access solution that can operate for up to 10 hours. By facilitating self-check-in, it reduces the number of interactions with staff, allowing for a decrease in the number of personnel needed for entry management and enabling staff to focus on venue guidance and safety management.
