Matte black ink is a low-reflective black ink that utilizes the dispersion technology developed by Kuretake. By combining carbon black particles of various sizes, it achieves a high light absorption rate. It also excels in the balance of application properties, durability, and functionality. Kuretake, which has its roots in the ink-making business, launched the first liquid ink for calligraphy, "Sumi Drop," in 1958. This functional ink applies the carbon dispersion technology cultivated in the production of "Sumi Drop." It can be used for various applications, including countermeasures against stray light in optical devices, as well as for hobbies such as modeling, plastic models, and DIY projects. <Product Features> - Achieves a reflectance of less than 5% across a wide wavelength range from ultraviolet to near-infrared. - Due to its high light absorption, it results in a matte finish without gloss. - Being a low-viscosity ink, it can be smoothly applied with brushes or pens, and it can also be used in our valve-type pen containers. - It can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is resistant to light, water, and heat.
