MATSUMURA's pipe processing involves various processes. Among them, three major processes can be highlighted. One of them is "end processing of pipes." End processing includes cutting and chamfering, but the end processing mentioned here refers to the process of changing the shape of the pipe's end. In fact, MATSUMURA was previously known as Matsumura Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. As a specialized manufacturer of pipe end processing machines, it has sent machines both domestically and internationally. However, due to issues with successors and the aging of engineers, the machinery division was closed down. Regarding MATSUMURA's processing, following terminal processing, we have bending processing. For items with many bending points, we use an NC pipe bender for processing. For items with fewer bends (1 or 2 bends), we create bending jigs in-house and perform the bending process (using air cylinders and hydraulic cylinders). The advantage of dedicated benders is that bending items with 1 or 2 bends using an NC pipe bender takes a considerable amount of time. While it is a very convenient machine for multi-point bending, it can be a waste of processing time for single bends when using an NC pipe bender.
