Japanese knives and the wet-type rust preventive disinfectant "Rapurakun" have a 55-year track record! We have newly released the dry-type rust preventive agent "Rapura A-kun." It is designed for cutting tools that cannot or do not want to use wet-type (aqueous solution) products. By simply inserting or wrapping the agent around the tools, you can effectively prevent rust. It is suitable for high-quality tool steels (carbon steel, Yasuki steel, high-speed steel), kitchen knives (Japanese knives, oyster knives, detail knives), woodworking tools (chisels, planes, carving knives), small knives (bamboo craft knives, carving knives, whittling knives), and high-quality Japanese scissors. Proven through 10 years of testing, it allows for long-term storage.

No glue is needed, and the rubber adheres completely to rubber (self-fusing). Since it does not stick to anything other than the tape, there is no sticky residue left at all. Being silicone, it has excellent weather resistance, durability, ozone resistance (UV), and waterproofing, lasting semi-permanently. No re-maintenance is required, and there are no cracks or fraying. It stretches well (up to 300%) and can also be extended. It can be cut by hand, and within a few minutes, the tapes completely fuse together and do not peel off.
