This is a detection kit for easily determining the presence of asbestos (asbestos) at a concentration of 2% or more in materials classified as Level 1 (asbestos-containing spray materials), Level 2 (asbestos-containing fireproofing materials, asbestos-containing insulation materials, asbestos-containing thermal insulation materials), and Level 3 (other asbestos-containing molded boards) according to the "Manual for Thorough Measures to Prevent Asbestos Dispersion and Leakage" (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Version 2.20, March 2018). Since there is a possibility that the measured object contains asbestos, please ensure to wear protective equipment to prevent exposure during handling. This product utilizes patented technology (Patent No. 6781441, 6864892) developed by the Hiroshima Prefectural Institute of Technology Health and Environment Center and is a product based on a licensing agreement with Hiroshima Prefecture.

This product is a set of separation concentrator equipment and pack tests. It can be applied to wastewater management and soil and groundwater pollution measures. Cadmium contained in the water sample is separated and concentrated on a filter, and after elution, it is measured using a pack test.

• Water quality testing

The "Pack Test® Standard Type" is a very simple water quality testing device. It contains a single-use measuring reagent sealed in a polyethylene tube with a diameter of 1 cm and a length of 7 cm. By sucking the water to be tested into the tube, the measuring reagent reacts with the measurement component and develops color. It is a simple operation to compare the developed color with the attached standard color to determine the concentration.

The "Digital Pack Test®" is a handheld single-parameter water quality meter. There are a total of 38 models (including ammonium, nitrate, residual chlorine, cyanide, etc.). The "Digital Pack Test Multi SP" is a portable multi-parameter water quality meter equipped with the functions of a visible spectrophotometer. Additionally, the calibration curve is pre-entered and the touch panel makes operation easy. The "Pack Test Arsenic (Low Concentration) Set" is a simple water quality analyzer that can measure arsenic levels from the environmental standard of 0.01 mg/L to the uniform wastewater standard of 0.1 mg/L on-site. It is applicable not only for managing environmental water such as groundwater and factory wastewater but also for leaching tests under the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act. The "Pack Test Lead Set" is a set that includes a separation and concentration device along with a pack test. It separates and concentrates lead from other metals using a highly selective molecular recognition gel, while measuring the red color of the complex formed between PAR and lead. This allows for selective measurement of lead and enables measurement at a uniform wastewater standard level (0.1 mg/L) for low concentrations. This product is a high-sensitivity type of simple water quality analyzer that colors trace components in the test water, collects and concentrates them on a chip, and measures them colorimetrically. If the coloration of the test water inhaled into the pack test tube is faint and unclear, performing a subsequent concentration operation allows for measurements at concentrations 25 times lower than conventional methods. The development of a small chip loaded with a membrane that serves as a collection medium has enabled simple and rapid concentration operations. The "Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus Measurement Set (High Pressure)" is a set that allows for the entire process from the pretreatment of organic nitrogen and phosphorus decomposition to measurement, including a high-pressure decomposer, reagents, and a water quality meter. Instead of the high-pressure steam sterilizer (autoclave) specified in JIS K 0102, a compact and easy-to-handle pressure cooker is used. This product is an oil content measurement kit that utilizes the properties of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), a thermosensitive polymer. It can measure oil content in water at levels close to drainage standards with just 40 mL of sample water, and the process takes about 15 minutes to complete.
