• Other metal materials

This product is manufactured through machining, unlike the process of casting iron weights using mold forming, resulting in excellent dimensional consistency and parallelism between the bottom and top surfaces of the weights. Therefore, the weights can be stacked in a stable manner. The nominal values range from 1 kg to 200 kg in a pillow shape, with a grade of M1.

• Weight related measuring instruments

Various types of weights in plate, cylindrical, or pillow shapes, corresponding to the scale's capacity, are stored in a resin case. The inner lining of the case uses polyurethane cushioning material to prevent scratches during the transportation of the weights. Plate weights with a nominal value of 1g or less are stored in a silicone container with dividers. Additionally, if the total mass of the stored weights exceeds 20kg, there is also a storage case with casters, making transportation to the site easier.

Automatically add or remove a chain of weights (material: stainless steel) according to the weighing capacity and scale of the non-automatic scales (hereinafter referred to simply as "scales") subject to inspection, and conduct error testing and eccentricity tests at the specified inspection points. In particular, for the eccentricity test, by inputting the size of the weighing platform (width/depth) of the scales in advance, the system automatically moves to the position specified by technical standards and conducts the test. Additionally, the displayed values of the scales are read by a CCD camera, processed through image processing, and the results are calculated using Excel.

Our company has a long-standing track record as a weight manufacturer, providing various weights including standard weights, and we also offer 'JCSS calibration services.' Calibration for nominal values from 1mg to 20kg is performed with accuracy class E (equivalent to JIS B 7609 E2 class), while calibration for nominal values from 50kg to 1000kg is performed with F2 (equivalent to JIS B 7609 F2 class). We have four skilled calibrators on-site who respond to requests and issue certificates within a basic timeframe of five business days. ■ Our calibration center is a registered and certified business under the Measurement Law calibration business registration system. (Registration number: JCSS 0345) ■ We also offer convenient weight rental services for those in need of weights with ensured traceability, and we can provide JCSS calibration certificates with the rental. ■ Starting in 2024, we will also begin JCSS calibration for large weights (nominal values from 50 to 1000kg).

Sankyo International offers related products to maintain the precision of delicate weights. We have a variety of tweezers with soft resin tips for gripping weights, grips that are easy to handle even with heavy weights, forks, and uplocks.

Our company is accredited under JCSS, which operates according to the ISO/IEC 17011 standard, using JIS Q 17025 (ISO/IEC 17025) as the certification criteria. The accreditation body (IAJapan) that operates JCSS has signed mutual recognition agreements with the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). The "OIML type cylindrical weight" is a product made of non-magnetic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It not only complies with the recommendations of the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) but also adheres to the Measurement Law. By undergoing inspections as a standard weight at measurement testing laboratories, it can be certified as a reference weight.
