This is a conversion plate designed to easily attach a 20mm lathe insert holder (throwaway holder) to a machine that uses 25mm, or to attach a 25mm lathe insert holder to a machine that uses 32mm. Our conversion plate for lathe square insert holders, which is also used in our manufacturing plant, offers excellent setup efficiency and contributes to time savings and reduction in tool costs, so we encourage you to give it a try. The "aluminum round type jaw" is a workpiece jaw for NC lathe chucks that allows for an increase in spindle rotation speed compared to conventional iron jaws due to its significantly lighter weight. When processing thin workpieces or thin-walled rings, using conventional iron round jaws posed a risk of the jaws opening due to centrifugal force if the spindle speed was increased while hydraulic pressure was low, which could lead to the workpiece falling off.
