On November 25, 2025, a tour of the production facilities for the EV truck "eCanter" and a briefing on the production system and used batteries were held at the headquarters of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. On that day, members of the press were invited, and various initiatives related to commercial EVs were introduced. The company's representative director, Toshiyuki Tsukamoto, highlighted the necessity of recycling used batteries, which are expected to significantly increase due to the spread of commercial EVs. He explained the reuse technology for second-life batteries adopted by EnePOND (R), the basic structure of the system, and the design policy for ensuring safety.
