LED Backhaul is a new means to supplement areas that cannot be covered by conventional wireless communication. ■ High-speed wireless delivery of 4K and 8K high-definition video is possible! High-definition video data, which has 16 times the resolution of high-definition images, can be transmitted quickly without interference from the overlapping radio waves in urban areas. ■ High mobility allows for both permanent and temporary installations! Currently, the transmission technology for super high-definition, which is being researched for practical use, is mostly limited to fixed installations. In temporary settings such as event venues where many people gather irregularly, the portable and license-free LED Backhaul maximizes its strengths. ■ Introduction of world-class communication technology developed in collaboration with Germany's Fraunhofer HHI! We have partnered with the HHI Communication Technology Research Institute of the Fraunhofer Society, the largest applied research organization in Europe, to jointly develop high-speed wireless communication using LED light. Recently, we succeeded in high-speed wireless transmission of 8K video (communication distance of 100m/500Mbps) in a joint technology verification experiment, leading to practical application.
