We received a request from a nearby customer for the replacement of two aging cone-roof tanks. Essentially, it was a replacement project with the same specifications (materials, dimensions, etc.) as the existing tanks. However, due to the lack of detailed drawings for the tanks and their supports, we created manufacturing drawings using 3D scanning. Since we were able to accurately create the drawings and manufacture the tanks, the connections to the existing piping and walkways were almost seamless, resulting in a shortened construction period.
