Yamada Sangyo's areas of expertise are molded products, industrial tapes, and the production of processed goods. We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured a support pad called 'wire support pad' used mainly for suspending electrical wires in the ceiling of residential buildings. We sourced resin (ABS), double-sided tape, and vinyl ties to create a prototype. Assuming actual site conditions, we suspended weights of 1kg, 1.5kg, and 2kg for three months of testing, during which there was no peeling of the adhesive and the results were good. "Apacon" is a foldable container made from corrugated plastic. It can be reused repeatedly as a transport box, making it much more economical compared to disposable cardboard. It is equivalent to about 350 cases of disposable cardboard. Furthermore, when folded, it reduces to less than 1/4 of its size, saving storage space. In the pachinko parts manufacturing industry, various manufacturers are using a method where they place pads inside folding containers and Apacon cases for the transportation and storage of molded parts. They lay the parts on top of the pads and then place another pad on top of the parts, resulting in a large consumption of pads. One pachinko parts manufacturer consulted us, saying, "We are struggling with the issue of paper dust and the costs associated with disposal due to the combination of cardboard and PE material mirror mats. We would like to propose pads made of the same material." As a result, we collaborated with a material manufacturer to develop a solution.
