"Ibuki Lime NEO-1" has a very large BET specific surface area, significantly improving the removal performance of HCl gas and SOx gas compared to JIS special grade quicklime. Moreover, the average particle size (D50) is equivalent to that of JIS special grade quicklime, ensuring good handling performance. Omi Mining Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive lime manufacturer that handles not only quicklime but also slaked lime and talc. Our company has opened the Yataka mining site on Mount Ibuki, where we extract limestone. The limestone from Mount Ibuki mainly consists of amorphous calcite (with a crystal grain size of less than 100 μm), and depending on the mining location, the purity of CaCO₃ is over 95%.
