This is an introduction to a case study where the thermal insulation and heat-blocking paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it, was used. This time, the application was carried out on the roofs of the headquarters and factory buildings of a manufacturing company located in Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture. Rust-proof painting and Luminastar painting were performed. As a result, the surface temperature of the unpainted area was 47.9°C, while the surface temperature after applying Luminastar was 26.4°C, showing a difference of minus 21.5°C. This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. In this instance, we applied the paint to a fume pipe and examined the temperature changes on the surface and inside of the pipe. As a result, the surface temperature of the uncoated fume pipe was 45.1°C, while after application it dropped to 36.2°C, a decrease of about 9°C. Additionally, the inner side temperature was 41.9°C for the uncoated pipe, which decreased to 35.2°C after application, a reduction of about 7°C.
