The "Cap Balancer" is installed by welding the upper hinge to the flange of the manhole cover and the lower hinge to the flange on the manhole body. If the welded parts of the cap balancer do not interfere with the manhole's tightening bolts, standard installation will be performed. However, if there is interference, adjustments such as extending the arm will be necessary.
