The "D600-1 type/D520-1 type" is a hydraulic excavator-mounted grass cutting and pruning machine handled by Sekirei Industry. It is used for maintenance and management of roads, rivers, etc., as well as for grass cutting and pruning; however, the mainstream method involves people manually operating machines like brush cutters and hedge trimmers. The work is extremely harsh and dangerous, with a significant number of personal accidents occurring. The increase in machine size poses major safety issues with conventional machines like hammer knives. Considering this current situation and the numerous requests received, we aimed to reduce the burden on operators and achieve safer and greater operational performance.
