The "Tool Touch Sensor" is a large touch sensor designed for harsh environments such as coolant, chips, and dust. When a tool or workpiece touches the sensor, an ON/OFF electrical signal with an accuracy of 0.001mm is output from the built-in touch sensor at a fixed position on the digital scale of the NC machine.
