VC picoSmart opens up entirely new possibilities for developing cost-effective vision sensors specialized for applications in a compact design and within a short timeframe. It features a 1-megapixel CMOS sensor with a global shutter and all the components necessary for image processing, all housed on a board measuring just 22 mm x 23.5 mm. It includes an FPGA module, a high-end FPU processor with a real-time OS, built-in memory, and an FPC connector for easy connection to interface boards. The VCRT operating system enables real-time image processing tasks such as object recognition, position control, barcode reading, and web edge and fill-level control. Like other VC products, the VC picoSmart is available as an OEM module optimized for industrial use with long-term supply capabilities.

This is a new fully embedded vision system for avoiding collisions between vehicles and people. By integrating a smart camera into the equipment, it continuously monitors the vehicle's blind spots and immediately alerts the driver with a warning light or sound when a collision risk is detected. The VC MIPI camera board supports the MIPI CSI-2 (Camera Serial Interface) specification and is compatible with various image sensors, including Sony's Pregius and Starvis series, as well as Omnivision products. The compact camera is compatible with many CPU boards. By using the VC ADAP96 BOARD, which is a CSI and Ethernet adapter board, it provides a perfect solution for creating intelligent VC cameras from the 96 board. The MIPI CSI-2 camera module is ideal for multi-camera applications, including mobile and distributed applications such as autonomous driving, UAVs, smart cities, medical technology, and laboratory automation. By using the MIPI sensor board, we provide OEMs with versatile components for embedded vision solutions.
