Free membership registrationWe conduct "Heating and Cooling Capacity Tests for Package Air Conditioners" based on JIS B 8615-1 and 2. The testing room is a large environmental control chamber of 14 tatami mats (volume: 57m³), where environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation frequency can be set arbitrarily. Additionally, four refrigeration units are arranged outside this testing room. Free membership registrationWe will introduce an example of collecting residents' biogas, obtaining health information, and measuring air quality. We captured biogenic chemical substances that had diffused in indoor air and conducted precise chemical analysis using GC/MS, IC, HPLC, etc. By using our self-developed collection materials, we achieved the collection and simultaneous analysis of chemical substances. Additionally, since the passive format does not require a pump, it allows for miniaturization and easy installation. In simulations where biogas collection cartridges are used in combination with air purifiers or air conditioners, we verified the airflow of the air purifiers and determined the placement position. Free membership registrationAt the Institute of Living Science, we are equipped with filter and filtration material testing devices that comply with both old and new JIS standards, allowing us to measure collection efficiency, retention capacity, pressure loss, and other parameters necessary for filter and filtration material development. The "collection efficiency measurement" can determine the collection efficiency for specific particle sizes based on the performance of the filter being tested, following JIS testing methods. By also measuring collection efficiency by particle size, we can provide useful performance data for filter development. In simulations, the latest airflow analysis accurately predicts the equipment airflow of air conditioners and air purifiers, the shape of the outlets, the blowing wind speed and temperature, as well as the thermal conditions near the equipment or indoors. Additionally, in thermal tests, it is possible to measure the indoor temperature at multiple points simultaneously in a test space of up to 57 m³ (which can also be divided into smaller spaces of 32 m³ and 25 m³).
