It has a simple structure and high reliability, allowing for short delivery times and low-cost production. However, it has a large pressure loss among throttling mechanisms and requires long straight pipes before and after the installation section. Depending on the shape, there are concentric circles, eccentric, elliptical, quarter-circle, and rectangular types. The "Orifice Flange (AOF)" is a product composed of an orifice plate and an orifice flange with a differential pressure take-off, combined with bolts, nuts, and a gasket. The shape of the gasket seat can be flat face (FF), raised face (RF), or ring joint (RTJ), allowing for use under a wide range of temperature and pressure conditions. The connection method to the piping is welding, with options for butt welding and socket welding.
