We would like to introduce a case where the two processes of compounding and fine grinding were shortened to one process through mini-pellet processing for T Company, a material manufacturer. The company required two processes, compounding and fine grinding, to create functional resin fine powders. As a result of requesting mini-pellet processing from us, the compounding was already completed in the form of mini-pellets, thus combining the previous two processes into one. This led to a reduction in delivery time and cost savings. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenge - Two processes, compounding and fine grinding, were necessary to create functional resin fine powders. ■Result - Mini-pellet processing combined the previous two processes into one. - Delivery time was shortened, and costs were reduced. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study to S Corporation, a pigment manufacturer, regarding the replacement of resin cryogenic micro-pulverization with mini pellets (micro pellets). The company, when producing high-concentration masterbatches, mixed pigments after cryogenically grinding the base resin to achieve finer particle size for better dispersion. However, cryogenic grinding resulted in larger lot sizes, necessitating the production of a certain quantity, which led to long-term inventory storage for some products. After consulting with us, they were able to achieve a particle size comparable to micro-pulverization by reducing the size of the pellets themselves. [Case Summary] ■ Challenges - Cryogenic grinding resulted in larger lot sizes, necessitating the production of a certain quantity, leading to long-term inventory storage for some products. ■ Results - By reducing the size of the pellets themselves, they were able to achieve a particle size comparable to micro-pulverization. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
