VIVA Aluminum Systems, a member of ViasGroup, has recently implemented the NX-1015 turnkey system for nitriding die-casting molds as a repeat installation. In response to the growing demand for extruded profiles from the industrial and construction markets, VIVA has expanded its manufacturing capacity by introducing additional extrusion presses and nitriding equipment. The new pit furnace has the capacity to nitrify loads of up to 2000 kg. The NITREG process technology adapts to application requirements, enhancing the performance of extrusion dies and increasing throughput per extrusion, as well as the number of productions per treated die. This optimizes tool life, reduces tooling costs, and enables a quicker return on investment.
