Welding Alloys Japan Co., Ltd. has reached its 23rd anniversary on October 18th. The continuation of our business until today is thanks to the support of our customers, as well as many partners and financial institutions, for which we express our heartfelt gratitude once again. The passionate vision of our founder was the beginning, and with the cooperation of our employees and collaborators, we have been able to gradually change the challenging circumstances we faced. We will continue to strive to contribute to society through our 3R business, and we kindly ask for your continued support and encouragement in the future.

Welding Alloys has revamped its logo, which has been used for many years since its founding. Currently, the WA Group is advancing various reforms under the motto "One Welding Alloys." One of these initiatives is the formation of the NxG (Next Generation) team, aimed at reflecting the new sensibilities and values of the younger generation in management, which has led to the creation of this new logo. While retaining the familiar traditional corporate color of green, it presents a simple yet smart impression. We hope you will continue to support us.

On September 16, 2021, at the 144th Lecture Conference of the Surface Engineering Society, I presented a joint research project with Professor Ban from Nihon University of Industrial Technology titled "The Relationship Between the State of Precipitated Carbides and Wear Resistance Characteristics in Various Welding Metals." The content involves an investigation into the effects of boron addition on the state of precipitated carbides and wear resistance characteristics in multi-component welding metals where multiple types of carbides precipitate in hardened overlay welding.

The "International Welding Show," one of the world's four major welding shows, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight. Our company will also be exhibiting there.
