We will introduce an example of outputting a "3D Disaster Hazard Map" using a "Color 3D Printer." When looking at disaster prevention and disaster maps in 2D, it is easy to identify locations, but how those locations are structured in three dimensions is not clear to anyone other than experts. In this case, we created a 3D disaster prevention map as one method to raise disaster awareness. By overlaying a disaster prevention and disaster map on a 3D map outputted from 3D data using a 3D printer, it became easy to specifically confirm disaster information, such as the degree of slope of cliffs and the extent of their width.
