Evaluation kit consisting of three components: CMOS-type odor sensor "5C-SSM," interface board, and flow path fixture, all housed in a casing. The accompanying software includes automatic setting functions for sensor drive parameters and pixel selection, allowing for simple data acquisition. CMOS type. Utilizing the charge storage function inherent in the silicon CMOS sensor itself, the increase and decrease in charge caused by the adsorption and desorption of odor molecules on the membrane is converted into numerical data. There are 16 sensor elements (4 x 4) arranged for each type of odor adsorption membrane, allowing for simultaneous acquisition of output data for up to 80 elements with five different membranes. This enables the avoidance of sensor failure risks and reduces noise through data accumulation and averaging processing.

Aromalyzer is software designed for the construction and analysis of odor databases.
