In modern times, these methods have been replaced by hardware, achieving strong rigidity while also addressing issues arising from the differences in material properties between metal and wood. Loosening of bolts due to wood shrinkage and vibrations is one such issue, and while there have been responses using spring nuts and washers, this product significantly enhances performance. The spring that follows wood shrinkage and the ring that suppresses the rotation of the bolt maintain the tightening force. Ensuring that the basic structural performance continues over time is the foundation of the architectural expression experienced through the ages.
