Using wood as fuel Compared to oil and gas, wood fuel is CO2 neutral and helps mitigate the greenhouse effect. Generating energy from wood means producing heat within the CO2 neutral cycle found in nature. In such large-capacity systems, there are often cases where thermal consumption is not sufficient throughout the year. The "HLT-100 COMPACT" hot air turbine, which falls within this low-output range, can utilize over 400kW of thermal consumption through power generation in a wood combustion system. A significant advantage compared to wood gasification systems is the potential to use a wide range of fresh chips with a moisture content of up to 55%.
