Gantry movements are synchronized with the robot, creating a large working area. Panels are randomly positioned. "RinasWeld" is software that takes a leap forward from traditional robot programming methods, by effectively taking all programming overhead away. When you select the 3D CAD model of the product, after which the software will identify where and how to weld. Smart 'anti-collision' lets the robot make optimal use of the available space. The "Goliath Welding Gantry" is a solution for the largest ship sections. Capable to process blocks up to 7 meters high, like the triangle block for the upper shoulder of the ship. Two to three small robots are suspended from the gantry to weld in the smallest places. The robots are mounted on a carriage with three external axes to increase the effective working range. The robots can weld independently of each other.
