Bostik's patented technology, UV-curable foam gasket (UVFG), is a one-component UV-curable resin. A high-strength, high-elasticity sealing and adhesive two-component modified silicone system that achieves strength more quickly, significantly reduces curing time, and improves production efficiency. Bostik's two-component SMP system cures to the core of the applied bead within one hour, reaching 90% of final hardness and 75% of final strength within 24 hours, regardless of heat, humidity, or dimensions. DUAL SMP consists of SMP (with A component available in various grades from Bostik; please feel free to contact us for requests) and B component (curing accelerator). DUAL SMP increases green strength (viscosity/strength in uncured state) by seven times compared to conventional one-component systems, shortening curing time. DUAL SMP is developed for transportation (trucks, buses, ships, aircraft, railways, etc.) and automotive applications, providing many advantages in terms of performance, efficiency, and cost of use. It reduces clamp time on-site (from 4 hours to 30 minutes), improving production efficiency.
