A sourcing engineer with extensive component knowledge will utilize JChip knowledge (alternative parts database, alternative parts investigation regulations) to investigate alternative candidates suitable for customer applications, including: 1. EOL (End of Life) measures 2. BCP (Business Continuity Planning) measures 3. Standardization For example, for EOL measures, alternatives will prioritize "specification compatibility" from existing manufacturers, while for BCP alternatives, "production location" will be considered, and for standardization alternatives, "trends" will be emphasized.
